Why did one transaction split into several smaller transactions?

Sometimes, a single purchase may show up as multiple transactions in your app. This is because some merchants (like Amazon) split your payment into shipments, put a hold on those funds, and charge you as those individual shipments go out. 

This can get a little tricky in terms of receipts, so sometimes waiting a couple days for the company to finalize shipping details can help. Otherwise, just do your best to match the receipt to the purchase, and feel free to reach out to our Support team by clicking on "Submit a request" in the top right corner of this page if you need advice.
