Dependent Care FSA (DCFSA)

My spouse also has a DCFSA through his/her employer.

Both you and your spouse are welcome to take advantage of DCFSA benefits, but as per IRS rules, there is a $5,000 joint contribution limit.

In other words, if both you and your spouse contribute the same amount, the maximum you could each contribute would be $2,500.

If you share custody of a dependent with someone else, then you may each claim $2,500 toward dependent care.
